This is intentional. Just enter the beginning of your account number -- about the first half -- and click Transmit. This causes your order to be sent with an incomplete account number; then, in a few moments, you will be asked to complete your order by sending the rest of the card number. Note that the second part of your card number is sent via a totally seperate network transaction.
