Hi, my name is Elijah Haran Guo and I am eight
years old.
I remember how I loved books when I was a baby and how
I started writing my very first comic series, Ben & Bill, when
I was four, and then changed to a new series, Mark & Dumbo
Head when I turned six. Well, I don't remember too many
things which happened to me when I was younger but I do
remember how I felt about things.
I want to be a writer and cartoonist someday because I have
zillions of ideas to share with everyone. There are so many
things in this world, which are pretty funny because people
misunderstand each other a lot. Some people are really funny
but they don't know that they are funny, some people are not
funny at all but they act funny to make people think they are
funny. I love to think about how people think of other people,
how they think that other people think of them, and how they
want other people to think of them.
If I become a writer or cartoonist someday, I will sell my books
really cheep (they are so cheep that they could be free!) so the
poor people can buy them too. I will also make simplified version
of them for kids. Everybody needs books to read, I think.
