I am an intermediate/advanced social dancer interested in a variety of social dances,including american and international ballroom dances, Scandinavian and other international folk dances, and swing dances, including west coast swing and lindy. I've taken classes in ballet, modern and jazz dance and some silver level international classes. I dance for the fun of it and do not compete. My job is a university teacher and I love to dance with students in beginning social dance classes. Usually I can dance both the man's and woman's part in beginning social dances. I love to practice dance; I also love other exercise like running, swimming, and cycling.
